Italy eSIM

How much eSIM data for a trip in Italy?

For 14 days in Italy with normal daily use, TripUtils estimates 6–9 GB. A 10 GB plan is the usual buffer. Not a live price. City maps and messaging fit the normal GB band. An extra eSIM is mainly useful if your home plan has no EU roaming, a tight cap, or you want a local number-free data line.

Common questions

Is 10 GB enough for 14 days in Italy?

City maps and messaging fit the normal GB band. An extra eSIM is mainly useful if your home plan has no EU roaming, a tight cap, or you want a local number-free data line. The 6–9 GB estimate plus buffer lands on 10 GB. Hotel Wi‑Fi is not counted. Streaming video on mobile is the usual reason to go larger.

Should I roam in Italy instead?

If your home SIM is an EU/EEA plan, Italy is often already included. Austrian A1, Magenta and 3 day-passes matter mainly outside that allowance or for UK SIMs — type the fee you were quoted.

Do you show live Saily prices?

No. Live prices belong on the provider site. The numbers on this page are a data-size estimate only.
