Common questions
Is an adapter the same as a voltage converter?
No. An adapter only changes the plug shape. A converter or transformer changes voltage. Most phone and laptop chargers are dual-voltage; many hair tools are not. Check the printed input range (for example 100–240 V).
Why can one country list several plug types?
Hotels and homes often mix older and newer sockets. If any listed type matches your home plug, some sockets may work without an adapter, but a compact universal adapter is still the safer packing choice.
